2

Hi Robert,

Thank you for reaching out to our department.
Per our conversation, you only store sulfur on site as a hazardous material that is above 55 gallons for liquids, 500
pounds for solids, or 200 cubic feet for compressed gas.
You stated that you will begin to bring in less than 500 pounds of sulfur on site. Please confirm via email and we can
close out the facility.

In addition, a hazardous waste permit (used oil/oil filters) is required if any hazardous waste is generated on
site. Please confirm that no hazardous waste is generated or stored on site.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Respectfully,

John Alaniz, REHS, CHMM

Lead Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 E Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205

Phone: (209) 616-3053
Fax: (209) 468-3433

Free CUPA training classes signup:https://www.sjgov.org/department/envhealth/

**I am out of the office every other Friday as follows:October 6, 20 |November 3, 17 |December 1, 15, 29

EHD will be closed for the holidays on:
May 29 | July 4 |Septmeber 4 | November 10, 23, 24 |December 25
