All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: The chlorine level in the wade pool is 24.5ppm. Immediately reduce the chlorine level of the wade pool to the <br />range of 3.0 to 10.0ppm or face closure. <br />Unable to correct on site. <br />Wade pool closed. <br />Per KLM rep, the wade pool will be drained at least halfway and the filter will be back flushed. He will contact me(inspector) <br />tomorrow afternoon. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to <br />10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The cyanuric acid level of the wade pool remains greater than 100ppm. Reduce the cya level of the wade <br />pool to less than 100ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm.
