All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: The Keep Closed sign is posted on the interior side of the entrance gate. Move the Keep Closed to the <br />exterior side of the gate. Correct today. Corrected on site. <br />The facility name and address is not listed on the emergency signage. Write in the facility name and address on the <br />emergency signage. Correct today. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />#8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: Unable to access the pool light and GFCI (in the Manager's office which is locked). Verify that the pool <br />light and GFCI are functioning properly. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) <br />#13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The cyanuric acid level is greater than 100 ppm. Take action to reduce the CYA to 100 ppm or less. <br />Correct by 2 weeks. This is a repeat violation. <br />Per pool service person, the pool was drained 50% in 2016 for cya. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br />#15 Operation Records <br />OBSERVATIONS: The operation records are not current. Maintain current operation records. Start today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual, pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br />Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br />necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br />for at/east two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request.
