The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for NASHIR MAIN ST INC. as of May 01, 2024. <br /> Open violations from September 18, 2023 inspection <br /> Violation#104-No modified contingency plan. <br /> OBSERVATION: Modified contingency plan information was not posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in <br /> areas directly involved in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency <br /> telephone number of the emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the <br /> telephone number of the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately post the modified contingency plan information or keep a copy of a complete <br /> consolidated emergency response/contingency plan on-site. Provide a statement to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department that the correction is complete. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑This violation will be corrected by(date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation#106-Failed to train employees on waste handling and emergency procedures. <br /> OBSERVATION: At the time of inspection, it could not be demonstrated (not necessarily documented)that <br /> employees who handle hazardous waste were properly trained. When questioned, a store employee was unable to <br /> state where absorbent was kept, if it were present, to clean-up a spill. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The business owner must ensure that all employees are thoroughly familiar with proper <br /> waste handling and emergency procedures, relevant to their responsibilities during normal facility operations and <br /> emergencies. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately train the employees.
