2
at ASW-1 and ASW-2. For the unsaturated-zone monitoring stations, three suction lysimeters (FU-04W-B, FU-06-B,
and LY-POND-N) contained sufficient liquid for analyses of VOCs. TBA was measured in FU-04W-B and benzene was
measured in FU-06-B. These samples did not contain sufficient liquid for analysis of inorganic parameters. The
remaining unsaturated-zone monitoring stations were either non-detect, dry, or there was insufficient water to
sample.
Non-statistical exceedances and exceedances of CLs are violations of the WDR. Exceedances of CLs are addressed by
the ongoing CAP that includes a landfill gas extraction system, a groundwater extraction and treatment system
(GWTS) and ongoing monitoring. Under the existing CAP, the GWTS pumped approximately 55.9 million gallons of
groundwater, removing approximately 0.91 pounds of VOCs.
I certify under penalty of law, that I have personally examined and am familiar with the information submitted in
this document and all attachments, and that based on my inquiry of those individuals immediately responsible for
obtaining this information, I believe that the information is true, accurate, and complete.
