Contact State Housing and <br />Community Development for approval of your commercial coach at (916) 255-2501. <br />Obtain a verification of commissary prior to END issuance of the permit to operate. <br />Gas-fired equipment shall meet applicable ANSI standards (114301d). <br />Electrical appliances shall meet applicable Underwriters Laboratory (UL) standards. (114301d). <br />Potable and wastewater tanks must be sloped to an outlet that ensures complete drainage <br />(114199). <br />Potable water tanks must have an air vent overflow that prevents flooding of interior of MFPU. <br />Vent must be terminate in a downward direction and covered with 16 mesh / inch screen <br />(114213). <br />Entrance door must be self closing (114303). <br />Coffee urns, deep fat fryers, steam tables, and similar equipment shall have positive closing lids <br />with secure latch mechanism that will prevent excessive spillage (114323b). <br />Equipment joints and seams shall be tightly fitted and sealed; silicone sealant or waterproof <br />compounds if gap is smaller than 1/4 inch (114301b). <br />No exposed threads, nuts, or rivets that interfere with proper cleaning (114301g). <br />Gas-fired appliances shall be insulated to prevent excessive heat buildup and injury (114323g). <br />The EHD must be kept informed of the construction progress. A final inspection must be performed, <br />operating permit fees paid, and approval to operate granted prior to opening for business. All equipment <br />1868 E.
