All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. #7 Pool Deck OBSERVATIONS: There are crystals forming on the deck from the pool water drying up. This could cause a chlorine rash if skin gets exposed. The connection joints are popping up in some places and causing a tripping hazard, Repair within two months. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any diving board, ADA device, or slide. (CBC 3114B) Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) #11 Combined Chlorine Concentration OBSERVATIONS: Combined chlorine is at 1.0 ppm, the concentration of combined chlorine must be between 0.0 ppm and 0.4 ppm. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or skin. (CCR 65531) #17 Cleanliness of Pool OBSERVATIONS: There is dirt and debris accumulating at the bottom of the pool, clean today. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) #22 Skimmer Assembly OBSERVATIONS: There are two float valve assemblies missing, replace them within one month. There is dead bugs, dirt and debris accumulating in the simmer baskets. skimmer baskets should be cleaned daily. CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
