All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH of the outdoor spa is <7.0. Take immediate action to increase the pH to 7.2 to 7.8. MAJOR <br />VIOLATION / CLOSURE CONDITION. <br />Base demand conducted: 14 drops <br />Biocarb added. <br />Recheck at 11:47am - still <7.0 <br />Re-check at 1 pm 7.2 <br />OK to re-open. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br />#18 Pool Shell and Tile <br />OBSERVATIONS: There is some green algae build up on the spa plaster. Remove algae build-up by 3 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br />and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC 31088) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: The north skimmer float valve assembly lacks an o-ring. Obtain and install an o-ring by 2 weeks. <br />The south skimmer float valve assembly needs to be replaced (broken check valve at the bottom and a missing o-ring). <br />Replace by 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
