All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The free chlorine level is 2.0. Increase free chlorine level to 3.0 to 10.0ppm. Correct immediately. <br />Pool service person added granular chlorine. <br />Recheck: <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#12 pH Level <br /> MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH is 7.0. Adjust pH level to be 7.2 to 7.8. Correct immediately. <br />Pool service person added some bicarb. <br />Recheck: 7.6 <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br />#26 Spa Operating Temperature MAJOR I <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa temperature is 105F. Decrease spa water temperature to be 104F or below. Correct <br />immediately. <br />Director turned down the heater at the spa. <br />Recheck: 104.0F <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Spa temperature shall not exceed 104*F.
