Box 32 <br />Manteca CA 95336 <br />RE: New pool at Weston Ranch High School, 4606 McCuen Ave., Stockton, CA <br />This letter will indicate Health Department approval of drawings submitted for the <br />proposed pool at Weston Ranch High School subject to the following conditions: <br />---r. The chain link pool fence shall have openings of no greater than 1 3/4 inches, <br />measured horizontally. <br />1%. Showers and restroom facilities are located in the boys and girls locker rooms. <br />Whenever the pool is open for use the locker rooms MUST be open and <br />accessible for use by the swimmers. <br />k.73( Provide a drinking fountain inside the pool enclosure. <br />The pool pump shall maintain a minimum turnover rate of 797 gallons per minute <br />as indicated on a properly positioned flow meter on the return-side piping. <br />Hot water must be provided at the outdoor showers with a temperature control <br />that limits temperature to 110°F. <br />Any item(s) inadvertently overlooked in the plan check process, which is not in <br />compliance with applicable County Codes and/or State Laws, shall be constructed or <br />reconstructed upon request of the Environmental Health Department. Inferior <br />workmanship, equipment, or materials will not be accepted for the construction or <br />operation of a recreational pool. Any variance from the requirements outlined in this <br />letter will require written approval from this Department. <br />Approval of the submitted plans shall become null and void if the work authorized is not <br />commenced within 180 days from the date of approval, or the work authorized by such <br />plans is abandoned. In order to renew action on an expired plan approval, the applicant <br />shall submit fees equal to that of a new plan review. A copy of approved plans shall be <br />available on site at the time of final inspection. <br />A pre-gunite, pre-plaster, and final inspection will be performed.
