All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:pH is>8. Provide pH 7.2-7.8 today. Corrected on site. Now pH is 7.6 <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Life ring is not in good shape. Replace life ring before reopening. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained,readily visible,and available for use. Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #9 Ladders and Handrails <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Double hand rail is loose. Fix before reopening. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:A means of entry and exit shall be provided at both the shallow and deep end of the pool. Ladders and <br /> handrails shall be corrosion resistant and shall be rigidly installed.At least one handrail shall extend from the deck to not less than a point <br /> above the top of the lowest step. Handrails shall be installed between 28 to 36 inches above the steps and deck. (CBC 3111 B)Pool <br /> operator shall keep ladders and handrails well maintained. (CCR 55535) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Skimmer is lacking weir gate and float device. Provide weir gate and float device in 1 week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br /> #36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Effluent gauge is not installed. Provide Effluent gauge in 1 week and the difference in pressure between <br /> the Influent and Effluent readings should not exceed the 10 PSI at all times. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION.
