All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The rope of the safety ring is tangled. Untangle the rope today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Safety equipment shall be provided,maintained, readily visible,and available for use. Pools shall have at <br /> minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br /> rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br /> (CCR 65540) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br /> OBSERVATIONS:There is some sand at the bottom of the pool.Vacuum within 5 days. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br /> in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom,sides,and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br /> and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #31 Disinfectant Feeders <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The chlorinator is leaking.A replacement order already has been replaced. Fix or replace within 2 <br /> weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Each pool shall be provided with a system capable of continuous disinfection of the pool water. (CBC 3123B) <br /> Disinfectant feeders shall be capable of supplying not less than the equivalent of 3 pounds of 100 percent available chlorine per day per <br /> 10,000 gallons of pool water. (CBC 3134B) <br /> #38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The influent is at 30 psi. Backwash the filter within 2 days. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3123B)Pressure gauge <br /> located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 3125B)Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br /> can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing.
