SAN JOAQUIN <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Time In 1055 am <br />Time Out: 11:26 am <br />C U N T Y--- <br />Greatness grows here. <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />Name of Facility: NORTHGATE MANOR APARTMENTS Date: 06/19/2019 <br />Address: 360 NORTHGATE DR, MANTECA 95336 <br />Owner/Operator: PORTER, ROBERT & DARLENE Telephone: (209) 477-1333 <br />Program Element: 3611 - PUBLIC POOL/SPA - PRIMARY <br />Inspection Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION - Operating Permit <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The free chlorine is at 1.6 ppm. Increase to 2.0- 10.0 ppm. Correct immediately. <br />CLOSURE CONDITION <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: The cyanuric acid is greater than 100 ppm. Decrease to less than 100 ppm by next season. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br />#15 Operation Records <br />OBSERVATIONS: Logs are not up to date. Maintain logs regularly. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual, pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br />Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br />necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br />for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request. (CCR 65523) <br />#38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br />OBSERVATIONS: Filter pressure is too high. PSI should be less than 10. Backwash within 2 days. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3123B) Pressure gauge <br />located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 3125B) Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br />can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing.
