All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: The free chlorine level is at 2.0ppm. This is within specification range (2.0 to 10.0 ppm). Maintain <br />chlorine level in this range at all times. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br />ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#12 pH Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH is at 7.0. Adjust pH to be between 7.2 and 7.8. Correct today. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8.
