All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: Rope is not attached to life ring. Attach rope to life ring. Ok, corrected onsite. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br />#9 Ladders and Handrails <br />OBSERVATIONS: Handrails are loose (deep end). Tighten. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: A means of entry and exit shall be provided at both the shallow and deep end of the pool. Ladders and <br />handrails shall be corrosion resistant and shall be rigidly installed. At least one handrail shall extend from the deck to not less than a point <br />above the top of the lowest step. Handrails shall be installed between 28 to 36 inches above the steps and deck. (CBC 3111B) Pool <br />operator shall keep ladders and handrails well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br />#13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Cyanuric acid is greater than 100ppm. Provide at 100ppnn or less. Treat or drain pool. Per pool service <br />pool drained last season. Pool treated recently per pool service. Pool service to call EHD with results. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Wiers lacking for 2 skimmers provide. Ok, corrected onsite. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
