All perimeter gas
monitoring probes at the above listed site will be inspected twice a year. The probes will be inspected for
physical condition(labeling, moisture from the probe, well integrity, etc.), gas levels and negative
pressure. A GEMtin 2 NAV gas analyzer will be used for the gas readings. A magnehelic with a maximum
negative pressure of 5 inches of water will be used to measure the negative pressure. A timer will be used
to measure the recovery time after sampling is completed(the time it takes the magnehelic to return to 0
after sampling ends).
World Enterprises was inspected from 1/19/12-1/20/12. No methane was detected in any of the probes.
None of the wells had a high negative pressure(none exceeded the magnehelic's range of detection). All
of the wells fully recovered after sampling. However many of the wells were surrounded and covered by
thick vegetation which made accessing the wells difficult and uncomfortable. The vegetation needs to be
cleared in order to create an accessible pathway to each well.
Enclosed you will find the perimeter gas monitoring results for the above listed site. This site will be
inspected again later in the year and another letter with the corresponding results will be mailed.
If you have any questions, you may contact Ben Escotto, REHS, at(209)468-3178.
Robert McClellon, REHS
Program Coordinator
