All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Chlorine measured over 10 ppm. Bleach out indicator. Chlorine level needs to be between 2.0 ppm - <br />10.0 ppm. Drained spa in attempt to correct chlorine level. Re-measured over 10 ppm. Bleach out indicator. Pool closure <br />issued. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: pH level measured at 7.0. pH levels need to be between 7.2-7.8. Pool Closured Issued. Contact when <br />pH is corrected. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br />#16 Water Clarity MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed water clarity is murky. Clean before open. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clear pool water while pool is in use or shall close the pool if the bottom of the <br />pool at the maximum depth is not clearly visible from the deck. (CCR 65527) <br />#11 Combined Chlorine Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Combined Chlorine Concentration is greater than 0.4. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality <br />of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or <br />skin.
