I am currently in a financial situation, where I need to sell the property, The land has been for
sale since November of 2018. One parcel sold, in April of 2018, escrow closed early July. During
this time the "new", owner, was approved and acquired a building permit, thru San Joaquin
County, he was ready to dig a well, when the Environmental Health put a stop to it. At that
time, the whole escrow process had to be reversed. I understand that the site was a landfill,
and that there is still clean up needed, but I am not in a situation that I am able to do that. The
environmental health has so much control over this property, that it is frustrating! ! ! I have
talked with the SJEH and they tell me that their hands are tied, due to it being a State issue. I
don't understand why they would rather see the property sit there and go to waste, instead of
having something done with it. I currently have a church interested in one parcel, where they
would like to build a new church. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated!!
Thank You for your time! ! !
z
