Airport Way, Stockton - Install Repairs <br /> <br />Good afternoon, <br /> <br />Following the repairs that were made to the newly installed, not yet approved underground storage tanks, our <br />department will be requiring the following inspections in addition to those already listed on the UST <br />installation approval letter: <br /> <br />1. Primary tank test of all three tanks in the split tank, in accordance with manufacturer specifications. <br />2. Secondary containment tank test of the split tank (interstice testing), in accordance with <br />manufacturer specifications, prior to brine filling. <br />3. Confirmation of interstice continuity for all three compartments in the split tank. <br />4. Secondary piping test: Pressure testing of all piping (product, vapor recovery, vent, and chase), in <br />accordance with manufacturer specifications. <br />5. Integrity testing of all tank top sumps, in accordance with manufacturer specifications. <br />6. Verification of brine type, and witnessing of brine addition in the split tank and tank top sumps. <br /> <br />Email notification for these inspections to ust@sjgov.org.
