All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #14 Chemical Water Test Kit <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Chlorine test kits shall be DPD. Provide a required test kit within a week. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain a test kit for measuring the disinfectant residual, combined chlorine,pH,and <br /> cyanuric acid(if used)at the pool. Test kit shall be available at all times the pool is in use. Chlorine and bromine test kits shall be DPD <br /> type. Chlorine test kits shall be capable of testing for free and total chlorine,so that combined chlorine concentrations can be determined. <br /> (CCR 65529) <br /> #15 Operation Records <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The chemical reading records are not being maintained. Ph and free chlorine must be tested daily and <br /> readings must be logged. Cyanuric acid must be tested monthly and readings must be logged. Correct today. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual,pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br /> Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br /> necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br /> for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request. (CCR 65523) <br /> #38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The influent gauge is reading 29 psi. Check and clean filter if necessary. Correct prior to using the pool. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
