All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa water’s free chlorine was observed at 2 PPM during the reinspection. Provide 3 - 10 PPM chlorine <br />at the spa. Pool maintenance worker adjusted the chlorine during the reinspection. The spa water was observed with 3.5 PPM <br />chlorine after the adjustment. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to <br />10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #12 pH Level <br />OBSERVATIONS: The spa water’s pH was observed at 7.0 during the reinspection. Provide 7.2 to 7.8 pH. Pool maintenance <br />worker adjusted pH during the reinspection. The spa water was observed at 7.2 pH after the adjustment. Corrected on site. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8.
