Environmental Health Department <br />Telephone: () - Owner/Operator: WOODBRIDGE VILLAGE POOL <br />Inspection Type: Routine <br />Address: 18644 LILAC ST, WOODBRIDGE 95258 <br />Date: 07/23/2024Name of Facility:WOODBRIDGE VILLAGE CONDOMINIUM <br />Reinspection on or after: <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />Program Element: 3611 - PUBLIC POOL/SPA - PRIMARY <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #1 Pool Gates <br />OBSERVATIONS: The east gate is not self closing with self latching device. Provide self closing gate with self closing device. <br />POOL and SPA are CLOSED until gate is fixed . Contact for re inspection to re open pool and spa. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br />Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool <br />area except where otherwise prohibited by law. (CBC 3119B) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br />maintained. (CCR 65535) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: Life ring is deteriorated and is lacking a throw rope. Provide life ring with a throw rope that had a sufficient <br />length to span the maximum width of the pool. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Measured the free residual chlorine level at 0.5 ppm. Maintain the free residual chlorine levels between 2.0 <br />ppm and 10 ppm. POOL CLOSED. Contact for re inspection to re open pool. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to <br />10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine.
