All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #1 Pool Gates <br />OBSERVATIONS: The east gate is not self closing with self latching device. Provide self closing gate with self closing device. <br />POOL and SPA are CLOSED until gate is fixed . Contact for re inspection to re open pool and spa. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br />Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool <br />area except where otherwise prohibited by law. (CBC 3119B) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br />maintained. (CCR 65535) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Measured the free residual chlorine level at 0 ppm. Maintain the free residual chlorine levels between 3.0 <br />ppm and 10 ppm. SPA CLOSED. Contact inspector for re inspection. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to <br />10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #29 Recirculation System Operation <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pump was turned off for the spa . Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is <br />available for use and additional times as needed to maintain clear pool water.
