All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public <br /> health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #1 Pool Gates MAJC <br /> OBSERVATIONS:MAJOR:The west pool enclosure gate does not self-latch. Immediately repair this gate to properly self-close <br /> and self-latch. <br /> Per SJCEHD Program Coordinator, Jeff Carruesco, as long as the pool/spa enclosure monitor is on site,the pool/spa may <br /> re-open for swimmers. <br /> However,when the monitor leaves, and if the gate is unsecured,the pool &spa will close again until the violation is corrected. <br /> Contact inspector when this violation is corrected: Kadeanne Linhares 209-616-3025(call or text). <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br /> Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool <br /> area except where otherwise prohibited by law. (CBC 31196) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br /> maintained.
