All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public <br /> health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #1 Pool Gates MAJC <br /> OBSERVATIONS:MAJOR:The west pool enclosure gate does not self-latch. Immediately repair this gate to properly self-close <br /> and self-latch. CLOSURE CONDITION <br /> A temporary chain and padlock will suffice to make this gate un-openable. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br /> Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool <br /> area except where otherwise prohibited by law. (CBC 31196) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br /> maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> This is(Major)Violation. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:MAJOR:The chlorine level in the pool is 1.6ppm. Immediately increase the chlorine level in the pool to the <br /> range of 2.0 to 10.Oppm. CLOSURE CONDITION <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools,when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br /> maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br /> cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas,wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to <br /> 10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. Provide the name and <br /> address of the pool and spa within the pool and spa enclosure.
