All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public <br /> health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJC' <br /> OBSERVATIONS:MAJOR:The chlorine level of the pool is 19.0 ppm. Immediately decrease the chlorine level of the pool to 2.0 <br /> to 10.Oppm or face closure. <br /> Unable to correct on site. Pool closed at 11:55am <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools,when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br /> maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid,2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br /> cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas,wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to <br /> 10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> This is(Major)Violation. <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:MAJOR:The pH of the pool is greater than 8.0. Immediately decrease the pH level of the pool to 7.2 to 7.8 <br /> or face closure. <br /> Unable to correct on site. Pool closed at 11:55am <br /> 1/2 gallon of acid added-pH will be re-checked again at re-inspection. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8.(CCR 65530) <br /> This is(Major)Violation. <br /> #5 Restrooms and Showers <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The shower is missing a knob/handle to turn on the shower. Repair/replace by 2 weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall ensure the following facilities are maintained and kept clean:showers,toilets, <br /> dressing facilities,drinking fountains,diaper-changing stations,floors,walls, partitions,doors,and lockers.Showers(except outside) <br /> shall be provided with soap in dispensers.Toilet facilities shall be provided with toilet tissue, hand soap,and paper towels or hot air <br /> blowers in permanently installed dispensers. Pool operator shall provide a minimum of one waste receptacle in each toilet facility. <br /> Wooden slats,duckboards and footbaths are prohibited.
