- Transplant production can be a part of cannabis production if you are producing cannabis plants to sell as
transplants to others. This does not affect your application for an Op -ID with our Office.
Do we need to specify that we plan on using it for cleaning on our Pesticide Plan? Or because we aren't spraying it
on the plant do you not want us to list it on the Pesticide Plan?
- For both Triact 70 and ZeroTol 2.0, you can have them on your Pest Management Plan. However, I just wanted to
make you aware of the application limitations of these materials in cannabis production according to DPR. You do
not have to specify it is for cleaning only on this plan.
What pesticides do we have listed that fall under the Restricted Materials List?
-Your Pest Management Plan does not list materials that require a Restricted Materials Permit. However, you must
obtain an Operator -ID through our office and have someone who is certified (QAL/QAC/PAC) supervise and handle
the application of pesticides you list.
The first 7 pesticides that you listed, Athena IPM, BioSafe Bio Foamer, Captiva Prime, Coco Wet, M-PEDE, Evergreen
Pyrethrum, Suffoil-X, are you saying that all of these ARE allowed in cannabis production or that these need to be
removed from the Pesticide Plan?
-These 7 pesticides must be removed or replaced with materials that are approved for Cannabis production. For
example, DPR list that Suffoil-X cannot be used in cannabis production.
-Just some clarification on Captiva which you list on your plan. There are multiple formulations of Captiva. The only
formulation approved for cannabis production currently is Captiva Prime, specifically EPA Registration # 10163-
366 -AA. You can list Captiva Prime in your plan.
If you have any other questions, I will be more than happy to answer or clarify them.
Regards,
Xa*y jorc AtcDawW
Agricultural Biologist & Standards Inspector IV
San Joaquin County Office of Agricultural Commissioner / Sealer
2101 E.
