Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: ECONO LODGE, 3511 N TRACY BLVD, TRACY 95376 <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pool enclosure entrance gate lacks a KEEP CLOSED sign . Provide a KEEP CLOSED sign on the <br />exterior side of the entrance gate by 1 week. Repeat violation. <br />The facility's name and address and the pool capacity number on the signage is faded. Re-write the emergency information and <br />the pool capacity number on the signage. Correct today. Repeat violation. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: The life ring is not accessible to swimmers (it is in the pump / equipment area). <br />The throw rope on the life ring is tied to the pool pump / equipment enclosure fencing and is tangled up. <br />Ensure the life ring is available to the swimmers at all times. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope.
