All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Free chlorine was 0.8 ppm. Maintain chlorine levels between 3.0-10.0 ppm when operating spa. Keep <br /> spa closed until correction is verified by EHD. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65530) <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Observed some gaps/cracks in pool deck. Seal gaps and cracks on pool deck within 3 weeks or <br /> resurface pool deck. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with the <br /> top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of any <br /> diving board,ADA device, or slide. (CBC 31148)Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained. (CCR 65535) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Skimmer observed without weir. Provide weir for skimmer assembly within 2 weeks. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water.
