All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br /> #12 pH Level MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pH of the pool is greater than 8.0. Take immediate action to bring the pH to the range of 7.2 to 7.8 <br />or face closure. <br />pH down was added: re-check of pH is 7.8 <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) <br /> #17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: The pool has some debris at the bottom. Vacuum the pool by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br /> #38 Filter Cleaning and Maintenance <br />OBSERVATIONS: The difference in pressure between the influent and the effluent is greater than 10psi. The filter may <br />need to be backwashed. Backwash filter by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All filters shall be maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3123B) Pressure gauge <br />located on the filter shall be marked with the clean startup reading. (CBC 3125B) Each filter vessel shall be provided with valves so that it <br />can be isolated from the recirculation system for repairs and backwashing.
