All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #16 Water Clarity <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool is cloudy and main drain is not visible from pool deck. Maintain pool water clear. Correct today. <br />Close pool area until the corrections are made and verified by this department. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clear pool water while pool is in use or shall close the pool if the bottom of the <br />pool at the maximum depth is not clearly visible from the deck. (CCR 65527) <br />This is (Major) Violation. <br />MAJOR <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Safety sign lacked name and address of facility. Fill in safety sign today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #18 Pool Shell and Tile <br />OBSERVATIONS: A broken coping tile was observed near the shallow end of the east side of the pool and several tiles were <br />missing in the "wading area" wall of the pool. Repair/replace tiles within two weeks. (REPEAT) <br />Some pitting observed in the pool shell. Plan to have pool re-plastered in the future. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated <br />brushing, and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC <br />3108B) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Two skimmers were lacking weirs . Install weirs within one week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall <br />be maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
