The operator should implement a preventative maintenance program to monitor and repair these conditions. <br /> b. Periodically check the site for burrows. Fill in the burrows with clean soil. <br /> c. Implement a control program. Operator advised to obtain bait stations. <br /> x 21190 - Postclosure Land Use <br /> Comments: There are various objects, treated wood and brush material stored on the old disposal area. <br /> Owner/operator should cease storing objects on the old disposal site. A few objects and brush material were <br /> removed from the site, since the last inspection. Operator will submit a plan to the EHD that will outline the <br /> removal of the various objects, treated wood and brush material. <br /> Storing objects on the old disposal area is an ongoing problem. Continuation of violation. <br /> a. Ensure that the Post Closure Land Use meets the requirements of Title 27, Section 21190. <br /> Inspection Report Comments: <br /> Notes: <br /> 1. Exposed glass noticed throughout the site. Cover the exposed glass with clean soil. <br /> 2. Burn activity observed at the entrance of the old dumpsite. Operator stated the burned material was brought in from <br /> another property. Operator advised to remove and not to store burned material on the site. <br /> 3. Owner/Operator should maintain the vegetation at a minimum to prevent surface fire from taking place, which could <br /> cause a threat to public health and safety and the environment. Options for vegetation control was discussed with the <br /> operator.
