Hewitt Road, Linden 95236 Ervin and Nancy Zador <br />Benjamin Escotto <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF THE DIVISION 30 OF THE PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE (PRC) AND TITLE 16 AND TIME 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) <br />x <br />20750 - Site Maintenance <br />Comments: Gopher/squirrel holes were observed in the ground and in the berms surrounding the gun ranges. <br />1. The operator shall implement a preventative maintenance program to monitor and promptly repair or <br />correct deteriorated or defective conditions. <br />2. Periodically check the site for signs of gopher/squirrel holes and fill in these with clean soil. <br />P. Implement a control program in the form of bait. <br />X <br />20830 -Litter Control <br />Comments: There is new soil put along the south side of the southern gun range. This soil contains junk material <br />and tires. <br />1. Litter shall be controlled, routinely collected and disposed of properly. Windblown materials shall be <br />controlled to prevent injury to the public and personnel. <br />P. Remove the junk material and tires from the soil and dispose of properly. <br />x <br />20530 - Site Security <br />Comments: The south side of the southern gun range has a gap, approximately 2 feet in height, between the <br />ground and <br />the bottom of the fence. This area appears to be used for drainage. <br />1. The site shall be designed to discourage unauthorized access by persons and vehicles by using a <br />perimeter barrier. <br />2. Implement a culvert (drainage pipe) in this area and cover with clean soil to bridge the gap between the <br />ground and the fence. <br />Inspection <br />Repot( Gomrnents <br />Routine quaterly inspection conducted on this date and the following was noted: <br />1. The facility is allowing customers to park their vehicles in front of the new gun ranges, on top of the <br />covered waste. The EHD will monitor the cover in this area. If signs of ruts, erosion, or exposed <br />waste are observed, customers will no longer be able to park their vehicles in this area, and the <br />cover will need to be fixed. <br />2. A pile of brush material was observed behind (west of) the main office. The material must be <br />removed within 6 months (12/19/12) per Title 14 Section 17852 (15). <br />3. No visible signs of use for the concrete material in the "pit" area located adjacently east to the <br />existing gun range was observed. <br />
