SAN,piOAQUIN <br />COUNTY <br />Environmental Health Department <br />Time In 10:00 am <br />Time Out: 10:50 am <br />Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report <br />Name of Facility: HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS HOTEL Date: 06/18/2018 <br />Address: 3751 N TRACY BLVD, TRACY 95376 <br />Owner/Operator: PAK & PAK HOSPITALITY LLC Telephone: <br />Program Element: 3611 - PUBLIC POOL/SPA- PRIMARY <br />Inspection Type: ROUTINE INSPECTION - Operating Permit <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code section(s) 116043, 116040, & <br />116050. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Address of location not posted. Post address of location on safety sign within immediately. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />#8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: Under water light not working. Pool shall be closed once it is dark until light is fix. also post a sign <br />immediately stating " NO use of Pool allowed after dark.'. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Low Residual chlorine. Provide acceptable range between 2ppm and 1Oppm. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br />OBSERVATIONS: Cyanuric acid concentration above 100ppm, consider draining pool. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm.
