All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#1 Pool Gates <br />OBSERVATIONS: Self latching on gate sticky. Repair so it self-latches every time in 1 day. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Gates and doors leading into the pool area shall be equipped with self-closing self-latching devices. <br />Self-latching devices shall be designed to keep the gate or door securely closed. Gates and doors shall open outward from the pool area <br />except where otherwise prohibited bylaw. (CBC 3119B) Pool operator shall keep gates and doors leading into the pool area well <br />maintained. (CCR 65535) <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine 2.6 ppm. Maintain 3 to 10 ppm. Corrected to 4.4 ppm on site. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall <br />maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with <br />cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 <br />ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Float assembly lacking in skimmer. Provide in 3 days. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br />#35 Flow Meters <br />OBSERVATIONS: Flow meter stuck. Perovide. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Flow meters shall be provided on each recirculation system and shall be installed in accordance with <br />manufacturer's specifications. (CBC 3125B) <br />#36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: Effluent gauge stuck. Provide in 3 days. <br />VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
