All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool is currently closed due to COVID-19 and will not open this year. Before it opens next year rewrite <br />pool hours, capacity, phone number of hospital, and site address. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual <br />OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine is low. Maintain at 2.0-10.0 ppm. Pool is currently closed by owner due to COVID-19 and <br />will reopen until next year. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#18 Pool Shell and Tile <br />OBSERVATIONS: Depth tiles in water line faded. Paint or replace tiles by Summer 2021. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br />and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC 3108B) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: One skimmer lacks weir door. Provide one by 1 week. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications. (CBC 3136B) <br />#36 Pressure and Vacuum Gauges <br />OBSERVATIONS: Filter pressure is high. Clean filters by 1 week and as needed. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pressure and vacuum gauges shall be provided for each pump system.
