All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. #3 Safety Signs OBSERVATIONS: Faded signs. Post new ones by 1 week. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) #10 Disinfectant Residual OBSERVATIONS: Level too high. Keep at 2.0-10.0 VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) #19 Depth Markers OBSERVATIONS: Faded markers on pool. Re-paint by 1 week. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Depth markers shall be clearly marked in the following locations: at maximum depth, at minimum depth, at each end, on both sides at each end, at the slope break, and along the perimeter of the pool at distances not to exceed 25 feet. Depth markers shall be 4 inches high in a contrasting color and be marked in units of feet and inches. For pool water depths 6 feet and shallower, markers with universal "NO DIVING" symbol shall be installed on the deck directly adjacent to the depth markers.
