All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Spa is closed due to COVID-19. If it reopens, write in capacity. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />#8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: Light is not working. Replace by 2 weeks. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4-inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dark. (3115B) <br />#18 Pool Shell and Tile <br />OBSERVATIONS: Spa has a small amount of pits. Plan to re-plaster in the near future. Contact this department and pull <br />permit for remodel. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shells shall be white and have a smooth waterproof interior finish that will withstand repeated brushing, <br />and scrubbing. A spa pool may be finished in a light color other than white when approved by the enforcement agency. (CBC 3108B) <br />#24 VGB Suction Covers <br />OBSERVATIONS: Cover on wall fell off. If spa is re-opened this season, cover shall be installed (manager currently has <br />cover)/ <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: All suction outlets shall be equipped with suction covers that meet the applicable ANSI/APSP-16 performance <br />standards.
