There is NO SUMP requirement for SDX be- <br />cause the patented design provides uniform suction regardless of pipe location. If the pipe is too close to the <br />back of the cover, it may restrict water flow to the pump, potentially reducing hydraulic efficiency, but this <br />does not posesuction safety hazard.
