All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: 0 ppm free chlorine. Provide 3 to 10 ppm. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br />the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br />or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br />chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br />#29 Recirculation System Operation MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pump not working. Repair to provide 1 turn over every 30 minutes for spa. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Recirculation system shall be in operation whenever the pool is available for use and additional times as <br />needed to maintain clear pool water. (CCR 65525) <br />#37 Electrical Hazards MAJOR <br />OBSERVATIONS: GCFI could not be tested, or reset after "tripped"; electrical panel not screwed in and breakers seemed <br />not safely housed. . Pool is closed. Repair immediately by licensed electrician. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with <br />Califomia Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4) Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground <br />fault circuit interrupter. (CBC 3160B) <br />#3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: Post "No Swimming After Dark" sign on deck since there is no pool light at this time. <br />Address on sign faded. Relabel. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified.
