will be delivering packaged meals from West High to the special needs class when school resumes in August. We will not
be using a kitchen or preparing any food at this site. The students will be eating in their classroom. The State is requiring
that we get a health permit for the site. Would we be able to schedule an inspection with you outside of our usual
fall/spring inspections? The State will not allow us to begin serving until we do...
Please let me know.
Thank you, Kadeanne!
Brandy Campbell
Director of Food Services
Tracy Unified School District
1875 W. Even with the specific situation you described, the health permit is still required in order to serve and
claim meals at a site.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Gina Stahlecker
Nutrition Services Division
California Department of Education
1430 N Street, Suite 4503
Sacramento, CA 95814
Phone: 916-445-1640
Food Service Staff Education and Training Web page I https://wwvv.cde.ca.gov/Isinu/ed/
NSD Customer Service Survey I https://www.cde.ca.govils/nu/nsdcs.asp
Twitter I @CDENutrition
From: Campbell, Brandy <bcampbell@tusd.net >
Sent: Monday, June 10, 2024 10:25 AM
To: Gina Stahlecker <GStahlecker@cde.ca.gov>; Brown, Debbie <debbiebrown@tusd.net >
Cc: Pollard, Rachel <rpollard@tusd.net >
Subject: [EXTERNAL] RE: New site 24/25 school year
2
