SECTION VII <br /> HA SING <br /> All sinks must be equipped with hot and cold running water, containerized liquid soap, and <br /> single-use paper towels that are dispensed from a wall-mounted,touchless dispenser that is <br /> accessible to the practitioner. <br /> Describe the type and location of each handwashing sink in your facility: <br /> Each station has foot controlled hand washing stations that are stainless steel with hot and <br /> cold running water. Both bathrooms also have sinks with hot and cold running water. Each <br /> room and bathrooms also include touchless soap and paper towel dispensers and foot <br /> operated trash cans for discarding used paper towels. <br /> Describe when handwashing is required in your facility: <br /> Hands are to be cleaned always prior to putting on gloves and after removing them. <br /> Hand washing is required before and after putting on gloves for all procedures and before and <br /> after cleaning items in the sterile room. Hands are also to be washed before and after eating <br /> or drinking anything in the designated artist break area. <br /> Are wall and floor surfaces at the workstation, cleaning rooms, instrument storage, and <br /> procedure areas smooth and cleanable? All procedure areas will be <br /> disinfected prior to set up and directly after each procedure. All non-procedure surfaces will be <br /> sanitized and clear. <br /> Restroom: Swept, mopped and garbage removed daily. Toilets and sinks will be disinfected <br /> daily and deodorized. <br /> Decontamination room: Swept, mopped and garbage removed daily. Counter area and sink <br /> will be sprayed down with disinfectant after each use. Sink will be thoroughly cleaned and <br /> disinfected after ultrasonic tank is drained. <br /> Break room: Swept, mopped and garbage removed daily.
