All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: A safety sign containing the name and address of the facility , capacity, hours and CPR instructions are <br />lacking. The "Keep Gate Closed" sign on the gate is damaged. Post all signs today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: The life ring was observed without a throw rope. Provide a throw rope for the life ring today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. <br />(CCR 65540) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #7 Pool Deck <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed furniture close to the pool edge. Maintain a clear area of four feet minimum around the pool. <br />Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: An unobstructed 4-foot wide deck of concrete or like material shall be provided and maintained flush with <br />the top of the pool coping. Deck shall extend completely around the pool and shall further extend 4 feet on both sides and to the rear of <br />any diving board, ADA device, or slide. (CBC 3114B) Pool operator shall keep the pool deck well maintained.
