<br />LL Hazardous Waste Ex Program <br />February 2020 5 San Joaquin County <br /> PWD-Solid Waste <br /> <br /> Exhibit 4 (Continued) <br /> Sample Notice to Collectors <br /> <br /> <br />Any collector that removes such hazardous materials shall deliver to the San Joaquin County <br />Solid Waste Division proof (proper documents and/or manifest) that subject materials were <br />disposed of properly. <br /> <br />If prohibited wastes are detected at the site and the responsible delivering party does not safely <br />remove the waste, the County will then contract with a hazardous waste hauler for removal and <br />ultimate legal disposal. The responsible party will be billed for associated costs. <br /> <br />Further information regarding proper disposal of the prohibited wastes listed above is available <br />from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department by calling <br />(209) 468-3420. <br /> <br />Solid waste haulers who do not comply with the requirements of the load checking program <br />stated herein will be prohibited from using the Lovelace Transfer Station for disposal. <br /> <br />A copy of this notification has been sent to all solid waste haulers who use the Lovelace <br />Transfer Station.
