All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public <br />health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> #3 Safety Signs <br />OBSERVATIONS: A safety sign containing the pool capacity and facility name & address is lacking. All safety signs shall be <br />posted. Correct today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall keep safety signs well maintained. (CCR 65535) Safety signs shall have clearly legible <br />letters or numbers not less than 4 inches high, unless otherwise specified. Safety signs shall be affixed to a wall, pole, gate, or similar <br />permanent structure in a location visible to all pool users, unless otherwise specified. (CBC 3120B) <br />This is (Minor - Food) Violation. <br /> #4 Safety Equipment <br />OBSERVATIONS: The rescue pool does not have a permanently attached hook and is less than 12 feet long. Provide a rescue <br />pool with a permanently attached hook that is a minimum of 12 feet long. Correct today. (REPEAT) <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at <br />minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw <br />rope.
