HSC 118280 -Biohazard bags shall be containerized and stored pursuant to this section. <br /> OBSERVATIONS: <br /> Records indicate biohazardous waste was kept on site longer than 7 days between the dates of November 27, 2024 and <br /> December 6, 2024. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: <br /> A person who generates 20 or more pounds of biohazardous waste per month shall not contain or store that waste above 32 F <br /> onsite for more than 7 days. Ensure biohazard waste does not remain on site longer than 7 days. <br /> No corrections due. <br /> Notes: <br /> 1. Inspection report emailed to Sheila Sexton-Desersa, Office Manager, at ssexton(a)shomq.net. <br /> 2. Barnett Medical Services is the licensed waste hauler utilized by the facility. <br /> 3. Treatment/tracking records were reviewed online (Barnett Medical Services website). <br /> 4. Treatment records were not available for review for most of the medical waste. Generator is to contact Barnett Medical <br /> Services to ensure treatment records are available for review by the LEA for future inspections. <br /> 5.
