Compostable Materials Handling Operation and Facility Inspection <br /> Report (93) <br /> Delicato Vineyards (39-AA-0037) <br /> 2/28/2024 <br /> Notes: <br /> Per operator, composting started on February 16, 2024. Quantity of conpost produced, <br /> windrow watering, temperatures and turning dates are not up-to-date. <br /> 1. Provide the LEA with records of quantity of compost produced. <br /> 2. Provide the LEA with records of quantity of compost that is remov9d from the site, or <br /> beneficially used on-site. <br /> 3. Operator shall retain records detailing pathogen reduction methocs. <br /> 4. All records shall be up-to-date and available to the LEA for review. <br /> Temperatures of green waste piles are between 90F-144F. <br /> 1. If the operation or facility uses a windrow composting process, ac-ive compost shall be <br /> maintained under aerobic conditions at a temperature of 55 degrees Celsius (131 <br /> degrees Fahrenheit) or higher for a pathogen reduction period of 15 days or longer. <br /> During the period when the compost is maintained at 55 degrees Celsius or higher, <br /> there shall be a minimum of five (5) turnings of the windrow. <br /> 2.
