They must comply with <br />ASME/ANSI A112.19.8-2007 performance standards. <br />Fencing shall be a minimum of 5 feet high, 2 inches from bottom surfaces and <br />for wrought iron, spaces may not exceed 4 inches. All gates must be <br />equipped with a self-closing and self-latching device located not less than 3 1/2 <br />feet above deck. <br />Hose bibs must be available within 75 feet of all deck areas, and must be <br />protected against backflow. <br />The equipment must be mounted on a concrete pad with slope of 1/4 per foot <br />minimum. <br />All return lines and skimmer lines must be hydraulically balanced. <br />Sanitary sewer line must be available for backwashing filter. Install a sump <br />so that during backwashing of the filter, all of the waste will go to sewer.
