All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. #10 Disinfectant Residual MAJOR OBSERVATIONS: Free chlorine approximately 100.0. Pool is closed. Provide 7 - 10 ppm free chlorine. This is a repeat. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Public pools, when open or in use, shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools, and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations: 3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) #12 pH Level MAJOR OBSERVATIONS: pH < 7.0. Provide pH between 7.2-7.8. Pool is closed. This is a repeat. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain pH between 7.2 and 7.8. (CCR 65530) #13 Cyan uric Acid Concentration MAJOR OBSERVATIONS: CYA>100ppm. Recommend draining or treating pool with chemicals to bring CYA < 100 ppm. This is a repeat. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) #4 Safety Equipment OBSERVATIONS: No pool capacity posted. Post in 3 days VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Safety equipment shall be provided, maintained, readily visible, and available for use. Pools shall have at minimum one 12 foot fixed-length rescue pole with a permanently attached body hook and one 17-inch life ring with an attached throw rope. Throw rope shall be of sufficient length to span the maximum width of the pool and shall be stored to prevent kinking or fouling. (CCR 65540) #11 Combined Chlorine Concentration OBSERVATIONS: Combined chlorine approximately 100.0. Pool is closed. Combined chlorine cannot be over 0.4 ppm. This is a repeat. VIOLATION DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain combined chlorine concentration below 0.4 ppm. (CCR 65530) Chemical quality of pool water and indoor air quality at the pool site shall not cause adverse physiological effects, such as irritation of the eyes, lungs, or skin.
