ICES <br /> November 15, 2024 ICES 9315 <br /> SUPPLEMENTARY SITE INVESTIGATION <br /> KAUTZ PROPERTY <br /> LOCKEFORD, CALIFORNIA <br /> 1 .0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This report presents the findings of the Supplementary Site <br /> Investigation that was conducted by Innovative and Creative <br /> Environmental Solutions (ICES) at the Kautz Property located in <br /> Lockeford, California. ("the Site"; Figure 1) . <br /> The purpose of the supplementary sampling activities was to collect <br /> additional soil samples to assess the potential presence of <br /> organochlorine pesticides, arsenic, lead, and mercury within the <br /> surficial soil that were associated with former agricultural <br /> activities . <br /> 2 .0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The Site is located south of Highway 88 and is within the legal <br /> jurisdiction of Lockeford, in conjunction with San Joaquin County <br /> and the State of California. The Site is identified by the San <br /> Joaquin County Assessor ' s Office as Assessor Parcel Numbers 019- <br /> 010-240, 019-110-120, 019-110-200, 019-110-260, 019-110-430, and <br /> 019-110-440 . <br /> The Site consists of six contiguous parcels covering an area of <br /> approximately 105 . 11 acres . The Site is currently occupied by a <br /> vineyard. <br /> 3 .0 BACKGROUND <br /> The Site had been used for agricultural applications since 1937 and <br /> was most recently planted with grape vines since approximately 2000 <br /> when Kautz Row Crops acquired the Site . <br /> 1 <br />
